LOL Sudbury Comedy Festival will play host to 15 shows over the 4 day event, and like the Film Festival, will program activities and shows that have broad appeal to a larger audience. Family activities will also be incorporated into the Festival. This wonderful new addition to Sudbury’s entertainment calendar will be all-inclusive, offering something for everyone! Finnish Grand Festival 2007 June 22,- 24, 2007 On June 22nd to 24th, Sudbury will be the host city for the 68th Annual Finnish Canadian Grand Festival. The festival is open to everyone whether they are of Finnish heritage or not. A full weekend of activities has been arranged including seminars, a marketplace, concert, dances and theatre. There will also be an International Cell Phone Toss Championship. This championship will be the first in Canada and is officially sanctioned by the organizing committee in Finland. There will be entertainers from Finland and out of town guests as well.
